Your missions

You will join a fast evolving project and engage in all development activities from preliminary design to testing your prototypes. You will take a key position as Embedded Systems Engineer, with the responsibility of developing the physical and software architecture of the on-board control unit. Your missions will include:

  • Develop and test embedded software for real-time control and telemetry of space-grade systems, mainly a propulsion control unit and control of the main electric motor and power.
  • Contribute to hardware-software co-design, including schematics review, FPGA/MCU integration, and avionics layout.
  • Work on low-level firmware, communication protocols, and sensor/actuator interfacing as well as interfaces with client spacecraft.
  • Prototype and validate avionics architectures under representative conditions (thermal, vibration, EMC, outgassing requirements, etc.).
  • Define HIL/SIL testbenches and spacecraft simulators, support system integration and debugging.
  • Document and trace design, progressively consolidating internal quality procedures and ECSS standards.

Your profile

  • Enrolled in the last year of master’s degree or engineering school, you have a passion for space technologies.
  • You demonstrate a high academic level and knowledge of industry-specific technologies and protocols and you wish to apply your skills in hands-on real world problems.
  • You have practical experience with the engineering methods mentioned, and you wish to shape the next generation of space transportation.
  • You possess a professional level of English. Knowledge of the local language will be recognised.
